This cartoon illustration is one of a series of "Big Daddy" Roth/Odd Rods style monsters/creatures. For this goon, I wanted to play with the lack of eyes. I went for a pretty kooky color scheme as well to give this illustration some 'pop'. All lettering is hand drawn to give it a janky feel.

I chose a Jeep Wrangler as the vehicle for a few reasons: first, I drive one (although it's black, not yellow); second, I know Jeep owner are complete geeks about accessories and thought this might have some marketing potential; and lastly, it was fairly easy to complete the art and still have it look like a Jeep. One thing I know you need to do right for a hot rod monster is to have the car perfect. Unfortunately I am more interested in the monsters than the cars!
