This sexy cartoon school girl illustration is one of a series I am developing for no other reason than the fact that I love to draw hot girls! The motif is a sexy pin-up or "cheescake"style series of illustrations with a play on the standard WWII-era pinups riding the nose cone of a fighter plane, or even a bomb! This hot little number fits in right alongside my sexy cartoon devil girl pinups. Love her riding that giant pencil!
The brunette does have a pair of glasses in the Illustrator file, but they just didn't read well (pun intended) in the final art. Another nice thing about working in a layered vector file and building this properly - I was able to swap out the glasses and not have to start the art all over.
I was working on the title for this one and thought a nice (yet obscure) inside joke wold have been to have the pencil lead grade be "HB" instead of #2. "HB" standing for "Hot Babe" of course! Another inside joke was to title this one "Lead Holder", which on those of us with pen/pencil fetishes would probably understand.
